Louver Cradenza

The louvered Credenza was the result of experimentation with wood finishing techniques. I developed a method of sandblasting spring growth out of red oak, applying a denatured alcohol dye solution into the valleys, and sanding the excess from higher areas. The resulting Credenza was designed to display this technique harmoniously. The utilization of broad, grain-wrapped, louvered boards gave this method prominence.
