Congruity Side Chairs

These chairs were designed and built in six weeks. With a tight time parameter, the chairs were held to six constraints: straight legs, right angle connection points, simple joinery, one way tapers, no arms, no part thicker than two inches. Well defined constraints allowed these chairs to boast sound design principles and proportion without the use of unnecessary embellishment.
